I was interviewed for a magazine article right before a trip to Italy. The writer posed the question, “Tuscany has been so done, what do you think you can do that is different?” It was a thought that kept playing in my head as I looked across the rolling countryside at the rows of Cypress lined drives. I have always tried to find my own way with things and I am not really interested in duplicating someone else’s photos. So, I didn’t shoot the typical view in Tuscany. When I came across this drive, I was intrigued. I do love tree lined roads. This one was certainly different from the ones at home. I liked the linear nature of the majestic tall trees, the gentle roll of the road and especially the turn at the end… a road to a dream. Tuscany is that way.
The Finished Piece
All pieces are limited editions and come framed using only acid free materials, museum glass and olive wood frames made in Italy. As edition cross milestones, prices increase. As edition sizes close, no further printing of that size will be available, nor will new sizes be introduced.
